Vow

This sculpture is the earliest work in the exhibition; it too comes from Paris and was cast in 1985 when Andrew returned to the states. The vision of this work came to the sculptor in 1984 as he was on a hilltop overlooking the sculpture park created by the Norwegian sculptor Gustav Vigeland. It is in Andrew's words, “...my personal vow, cast in bronze, to carry out the visions entrusted to me on this earth.”
