This sculpture was commissioned by St. Mary's church in Portland CT after their rebuilding, the original church having been destroyed by a fire.  The new church was designed by the architect Beverly Pierz who along with Father Ashe selected Andrew to create a work that would complete the vision that the congregation had for a beautiful church in a modern style.  The sculpture was consecrated by the bishop of Connecticut in 1996.
