Allegro premiered as a small maquette at the artists' solo exhibition in NYC at the Agama gallery in 1999.  The larger version was unveiled at Andrews' solo exhibition in 2000 at the Chesterwood Museum.  The work is compelling in it's use of “figura serpentina” design accented by the skirt which wraps around the figure as she spins.
