Our Tour Itinerary is complete!

This Tuscany tour will provide participants a unique perspective into the history of Italian sculpture, along with the working methods of sculptors from past to present. With his uniquely fresh approach, Andrew will give informal talks on the influence of Italian sculpture on the world of art through the ages and insights into its effect on American sculpture.

We’ve added 1 more day to our stay in Florence so the tour time period is now October 2 - 10, 2009. The maximum number for this trip is 14 art enthusiasts!

The Tour Itinerary below gives a brief outline of what I believe will be a once in a lifetime travel experience. I’ve included some website links within the itinerary where appropriate, and a link to a .pdf version for easy download and printing. Each participant will also receive a list and maps to many of the most unique shops in Florence, our first stop. Later in the journey while using Radicofani's La Palazzina as our base, we will visit artist's studios on day trips throughout the Val D’Orcia region of Tuscany.

The food, wine and culture of Tuscany will delight and enchant us, providing a refreshing change of pace we'll remember for years, and to mark this event I am preparing a special bronze relief for each tour participant titled Tuscan Venus (see image at right).

The cost of this 10-day, 9-night course is €2,365 euro per person, double occupancy, not including air fare. Single supplement is €500 euro.
