My original pastels are all life drawings. The
brilliant colors are influenced by my earliest love of impressionism,
and artists such as Monet and Degas as well as the contemporary artist Wolf Kahn. The sensuality of the figures
suggests the colors I choose. The medium itself presents vibrancy
